What this site knows about you

This is a static personal site. It has no accounts, no forms, and no comment box, so it never asks for your name, email, or address. If you write to me, I keep the email; that is the whole of it.

I use Google Analytics to see which pages get read. It sets cookies and records the usual request details: page, referrer, rough location, device type. I look at aggregate numbers only, and nothing here is sold or shared with anyone else.

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare logs basic request information (IP address, user agent, timing) for security and performance. Photographs are served from Unsplash's image CDN, which sees the same kind of request.

The site links out to GitHub (opens in a new tab), X (opens in a new tab), LinkedIn (opens in a new tab), Unsplash (opens in a new tab), Instagram (opens in a new tab), and Boost (opens in a new tab). Each of those has its own privacy practices, which I do not control.
